he pipeline coating production line is a production line used by the pipeline industry for pre-processing, powder spraying, heating and other processing activities of pipelines. The coating is used to cover the metal or non-metal surface with a protective layer or decorative layer.
Pre-processing equipment
Four commonly used methods of pipeline surface pretreatment:
(1) Surface cleaning
Surface cleaning refers to the removal of all visible oil, grease, dirt, old anti-corrosion layers and other soluble contaminants on the steel surface. Oil, grease and other contaminants can be cleaned with solvents, emulsions or alkaline cleaners, and steam. The tools used can include rigid fiber brushes, wire brushes, rags, etc.
(2) Tool rust removal
Tool rust removal can be divided into manual and power tool rust removal methods. Hand tools include wire brushes, coarse sandpaper, blades or similar hand tools. Power tools include rotating wire brushes, grinding wheels, etc.
(3) Spray (throw) shot to remove rust
Shot blasting (blasting) rust removal refers to the use of sand blasting or shot blasting to remove rust on metal surfaces.
Shot blasting or sand blasting derusting surface has high efficiency. For pipeline anti-corrosion layer maintenance operations, it is mainly used in the large-scale repair process of anti-corrosion layer.
(4) Pickling
Pickling refers to cleaning the surface of the steel with an acid solution containing additives such as corrosion inhibitors to achieve the purpose of removing dirt and rust. The mechanical equipment used in this method is small, the cost is low, and it is simple and easy to implement, but the metal surface roughness after disposal is small. This method can be used for the pre-disposal and punishment process of the inner surface of buried pipelines, and is generally not used in the maintenance process of the outer anticorrosion layer.
